This term we have been learning about Te Whare Tapa Whā, which is a well being model created by Sir Mason Durie. Te Whare Tapa Whā is a way of looking at your hauora (health).

Our task was to create a video that showcases our personal wellbeing plan. Our video should show how we plan to care for each of the four walls of Te Whare Tapa Whā. Here is my work.

Because today we had to do a summarising about  a girl name Blaire how loved playing rugby but she says a speech for the girl’s in her class to join the rugby girl’s team I had to fine 12 keywords from the text and then choose 6 words from the 12 keywords and then make it will summarising it in to the story but i’m going to stop have and please have a look at my work but have a great day bye 🙂

Hi and kia orana it me Motu in the island world. Today my literacy class had to wear a costume from my reading group about a story of a person that had to wear a costume to a party. he had to wear a traditional costume but he wasn’t proud of his culture yet. Near the end of the story he said that his superpower is his culture that is where we or my  literacy class dress up as a culture wearing or a superhero costume and as you can see I was wearing a cook island wearing. We all had to tell the class what our superpower was. My superpower was nature and that day was fun I hope we can do it more. it time for me to leave bye and have a great day.

Kia orana It me Motu and I’m back with a new blog post and big sorry that it has been a long time since I did my blog post I hope I can finish my work and post it on time. But this term we are learning to use PPDAC if you don’t know what that is then you can look at my side that me and my group had to make. Also that photo at the top shows me and my group presentation in front of my class room 4. To me I like our presentation and it was fun to do I hope we can do more and do better next time thank you for reading my blog post bye bye. 🙂

Hi hello welcome back to my blog. Here is a new blog post that I just finished last minute and it is my Te Whare Tape Wha It is the four walls of my Whare (home) and the four walls are. Taha Wairua (Spiritual) Taha Tinana (Physical) Taha Whanau (Family & Social) and Taha Hinengaro (Mental & Emotional). Those were my Whare Tape Wha, as you can see it was about me making a poster about my Whare Tepa Wha. Now to the part when you know if it was hard or not. No it was not hard at all it was only a little bit because I did not know what to do at the start other than the images put on. If that doesn’t make no sense I don’t know too. Hello i’m back with a new blog post because today at school will I just finish it today and I think last week was then I started the work but it was about the Rules of Rounding. It wasn’t really hard because we just had to make a poster about it and there are little notes just for you so if you are reading this thank you for that. Kia Orana greetings one and all Motu is back with a new blog post for 2025. thank you guys for last year and Happy New Year and Marry Chirstmas. for this year i’m a year 8 and i’m in the same class from last year but with a new teacher and i’m not going to said her name  because today at school in the afternoon we were learning about Cybersmart and how to be smart Online. We had to make a poster about why it’s good to be Cybersmart online and so as you see that is my poster that I made so you guys can have a look for yourself. Hi and greeting this is a wanted poster about a puffer fish but I think you can see that. It was for the Summer Learning Journey, I had to do this on Wednesday but I was at sport so I couldn’t do it. but that means on Thursday I would have  posted it. But l couldn’t cause the year 7 had to practice our prize giving dance at 9:30. But team 5 went to literacy classes at 9: o clock so there was a little bit of time to start my wanted poster and I loved how it turn out. At the same time it wasn’t hard it was pretty easy.
